On The Train To Vizard Town! Do Da Da Do!

It was a dark day in the slums of Karakura. The rain had decided it would fall today and ruin the bright and sunny bubbleness of Tatehaya's Thursday afternoon. She had skipped out on school today, Karakura high. She liked it there, humans were fun and interesting. They were far more complex then the simplicity of Shinigami, and some of them were so funny. A few of them made her laugh, and she genuinely enjoyed her human like away from the troubles of the afterlife. She stepped from her house and opened her favorite umbrella. She had decided to take a walk today, even if that was when it was still sunny. When she decided to do something, she did! The umbrella explanded with a nice, subtle, thumb sound. And as it suspended over her raven black hair, it created a small shadow under her. Light was no entirely absent in the rain, so it could be seen clear as day. And although she hated the rain, she liked the smell that accompanied it. The wer cement, or asphalt, she wished she had a perfume of it. Too bad it only came with the rain. Fooey! she blurted as she walked down the street, her umbrella protecting her from the raindrops that aimed to drench her! Stupid rain! she stomped in a puddle and cause a splash to drench her entire lower half of her body. Aaaaah! she squealed as the cold dampness soaked her favorite summer dress. She clenched up as tears began to swell down her face. Today had gone all wrong! First it started to rain, now her favorites clothes were dirty! It couldnt get any worst!

Tatehaya Susanoo? a voice can from behind her. It was raspy and willed with curiosity. Tatehaya turned around, hiding her face behind her umbrella and simply nodded. Im Tatehaya Susanoo, can I help you? she pouted a bit, still upset by the water. We're here to take you in, you will answer to the Central 46 for your crimes! the man shouted before dashing at her, zanpakuto unsheathed. Tatehaya had no time to react, a nice deep gash came across her stomache. She dropped to her knee's and help her stomach. The slice didnt pierce the stomach wall so her insides were safe, for now. Warm blood soaked her hands as her tears increased in quantity. Why? she thought to herself, as he consciousness slipped away. WhRAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! a mask began to cover her face as a deep spiritual pressure consumed her body. The wound upon her stomache seemed to vanish into thin air. Her inner hollow completely took over, suppressing her personality and shackling it to her subconscious. He hollow stood up and looked around, then looked to his hands. Aaaah! Im free! God, thats hot! it hopped in place, punching the air very quickly. Look at me! Im setting records! it laughed to itself. It seemed genuinely happy, very very happy. The shinigami who had just tried to kill Tatehaya was frozen in fear. W-what the hell?[/color] he stuttered before dropping his sword and running away. The hollow caught him out of the corner of her eye, and with a simply application of pressure, dashed at him with enough speed and force to knock him onto his back.

The man squirmed as the hollow slammed her foot onto his chest, breaking his ribcage and knocking all the air out of him. Oh god, mercy! Please![/color] the hollow seemed to enoy his cries and pleas. But it was as cold hearted as youd expect. Sorry, all outta mercy! it opened its mouth and charged a cero, the high pitch ring of the formation could be heard for a distance. Youre a pathetic waste of shinigami blood!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another regular day out in the slums of Karakura town, but today it was raining which hadn't happened for a while. So of course with so much water around Koberu was out and about instead of his regular sleeping back at the warehouse. Koberu had his favorite outfit on, the one he wore most often, his yellow-green jacket with a striped white and purple undershirt, his darker shaded yellow-green pants, and his gray vans that have a white and black checkerboard pattern on them. He wasn't listening to his I-pod right now, but it was snug in his pocket ready to be used whenever and the chain around his neck with the kanji charms shined lightly. He yawned loudly, it wasn't so much that he was tired but that he was pretty damn bored. He wished for excitement, anything at all would be great right now. He placed a hand on his head and messed with his hair for a few moments, it was probably a mess but he didn't care, nobody was around because of the weather. The drops hitting Koberu's skin were cold but soothing and very enjoyable, he looked up to the sky, the sun was out but mostly hidden behind the rain clouds. Koberu smiled for a moment and continued on his walk, this was his favorite kind of weather.

Later on in the day Koberu noticed a very small spiritual presence, it was a simple un-notable shinigami. He thought it was a bit odd that a shinigami was here considering there were no hollows around, Koberu would have sensed it. He always knew what was going on around the town supernaturally no matter how far away it was. And there was no way the shinigami was here for him, Soul Society had given up on Koberu a long time ago, not to mention Koberu could kill him using only one hand. He turned away from the direction of the shinigami when he felt a spike in spiritual pressure, it wasn't strong but... it felt evil, but at the same time familiar. What in the hell...? No way. It couldn't be. Koberu quickly shunpo'd to the location of the spiritual pressure and found a shinigami along with what he had thought, a Vizard. It was a girl who had lost control and her hollow was now running rampant, currently trying to kill the shinigami. He dashed over to her and grabbed onto her mouth, blocking the cero with his hand, it was going to hurt but it was nothing he couldn't handle. Damn, another vizard. Where the hell did you come from?

The hollow felt as the hand wrapped around its mouth and took the full force of the attack. It was absolutely sure that it had annihilated whatever stopped it from getting it vengeance, that is until the smoke cleared and the hand remained with little more then a few burn marks, and even then they were minuscule. The hollows eyes opened in sheer terror as it realized her blast had done NOTHING! The terror turned to anger and it snapped its mouth shut. Worm! the hollow shouted, making it apparently clear that it was pissed off at the actions taken by the mysterious stranger. The hollow drew its head bad and leaped away from the man and the shinigami he had just saved. It scanned both of their reiatsu levels, and neither was strong enough to defeat it. That hand was a fluke! She could handle this asshole, then shed rip this shinigamis fuckin heart out! With a flick of its wrist, her zanpakuto appeared in its hands. With a tap of its foot, it shunpo'd directly infront of the new man, and went to deliver a powerful headbutt to the mans head.

The cero fired and Koberu felt a very light burning sensation in his hand for a moment. The thing freed itself from his grasp and moved away from him, Koberu examined his hand for a moment. Just as he had thought there were very light small burns on his hand, less damage than he had expected. He looked down at the shinigami he had just saved, the guy was alive but he was either too scared to speak or too injured to form any words. Koberu noticed the girl summon her zanpakuto and he grabbed the shinigami and threw him back, getting him away from the fight. Koberu turned back to face the girl and a moment later she shunpo'd and appeared in front of him, attempting to land a headbutt. Koberu quickly moved to his left and tried to knee the girl square in the stomach.

He was fast! Almost too fast! As soon as the hollow went to deliver it bonecrushing headbutt the man had dodge it like it was nothing! Not only that he had followed up for a powerful knee to its gut. This was nothing it couldnt handle. Sliding its hands infront of its stomach, it cupped his knee while spreading its legs open. It used the upwards momentum of his, attempted, knee jab to propel itself over his head. Clearing his head and doing a badass corkscrew spin like you see in the cheesy ass action movie, it landed behind him. It was in even more of a bind this time around, as its back was facing its opponent, not something one wants. it gripped its zanpakuto tight and hoisted it high in the air. With a simple pivot, it swung its body mass into the sword. Spinning around and aiming to cleave her enemies head off like he was a chicken. The hollow played with the idea of releasing its zanpakuto, as it had already gotten acquainted with the spirit within. But that was about as far as it went. All thinking and no action.

Koberu was slightly impressed, the creature he was battling was able to think rationally, it had just used his simple attack to propel itself over Koberu's head, behind him. He sighed heavily, this was starting to become a pain in the ass. He didn't want to have to actually put any effort into taking care of this thing and he'd be damned if he actually did. He turned around to face it and was greeting by the creature running at him and attempting to slice his head clean off his shoulders. Koberu ducked back and down to avoid the attack, then sprung himself back upright and aimed an underhand punch at the creatures stomach. This was the last time he was going to go easy and play nice, after this his attacks would be a bit more... rough. There was always the option of drawing his zanpakuto and using it, but if he had to go that far just to take care of this simple enemy he would be disappointed in himself.

She was sure she had him this time! She spun around, her blade reflecting the rays of light from the over hanging lamp posts. The hollows deathly shrill broke the silence that existed, even with the millions of raindrops dabbling the floor. The man proved far more skilled then it when he dodged her attack with relative ease. Made her look like a clown. And further reinforced his superiority when he delivered a game finishing blow to her stomach. This man was like a broken record; stomach, stomach. again and again. She couldnt dodge it. He was too fast and the blow did enough damage to almost knock her out. But luckily the hollow was resilient and it kept itself up with sheer willpower. When the blow connected with her stomach, the hollow wrapped its hands around the man's arm. Its fingers laced around it, and held on as tight as he could. Die! the hollows gaping mouth opened as a red cero charged and threatened to blow the man away at point blank range. The cero was aimed at his squishy little face. She hadnt seen one of those burn.....ever!

Koberu could feel his blow landing square in the hollow's stomach, it dealt a reasonable amount of damage but to his disappointment the damn thing was still conscious. He stared at it dully for a moment, before it made it's move and grabbed onto him. The hollow opened it's mouth and another red cero began to charge, it was trying to reduce Koberu's head to dust. Koberu groaned for a moment and just stared at the thing. You really are a fool aren't you? You saw how little your last attack did and yet you try the same tactic again. You see how well I do in close combat and how much my skill exceed's you and yet you get even closer. I'm done messing around now, hope you enjoyed me going easy on you. Koberu bent himself backwards and leaned his head back before quickly moving forward to deliver a devastating headbutt to the hollow, hopefully destroying the things mask. It didn't even matter to him if the cero hit, it would hurt and there would be burns, but all that mattered was that he knew he could survive it.

He didnt move?! Better yet he began to talk shit to her. Who did this asshole think he was? Never the less the arcing red Cero shit forth from her mouth and made contact with his squishy little face! The hollow was sure he was done for! No one could survive that! Not even Zeke Osakawa himself. That, of course, was a lie. She overconfidence had gotten the best of her. The man's head came into contact with the mask. The full force of his attack cracked it open like a bottle. The pieces whipped through the air like wood chips and fell to the floor. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU- the hollow screamed as it once again receded into the young womans conscience. Allowing Tatehaya to gain back control of her body. She fell to the floor, her back absorbing most of the fall. Air entered her lungs as she gasped for breathe. Ah! she popped up. Grabbing her umbrella that lay next to her, she opened it back up and blocked the rain from soaking her clothes even more. Her eyes, which had been surveying the floor. caught sight of the man's shoes. She looked up steadily, studying his body until she reached his face. Hi she muttered, not really knowing what to say. I dont....Im sorry

The cero made contact with his face and Koberu could feel the burning sensation for a moment, it actually wasn't as bad as he thought it would be, it felt like hot coffee or something to that effect since Koberu wasn't big on coffee. Once it was finished Koberu could hear the cracking sound of his head slamming against the mask and shattering it to pieces. The hollow screamed for a moment before it reverted back to the girl's normal appearance. Her body fell to the floor and a moment later she sat up straight and opened her umbrella to protect herself from the rain. She looked up at him and started with a simple greeting before apologizing. Koberu simply sighed and wiped his face for a moment, the feeling of raindrops hitting his body was refreshing. He looked down at the girl and offered his hand to help her up. Hello, and don't be sorry. I'm just glad to see your back to normal, I was pretty damn surprised to see another Vizard around here.

Tatehaya stood to her feet and began to dust herself off and the man began to talk. He said he was happy to see she was back to normal, which was a very nice thing to say. He then muttered a familiar phrase, "Vizard". The phrase stopped her dead in her tracks. HEr heart went cold. How did he know? Could he be? No, thats impossible. She was told all the vizard died out with the death of Shichiro Takumi in Hueco Mundo. Daisuke, Jin, Koberu, Shichiro all of them were dead and gone. They were a lost race now. But that was obviously a lie. Her eyes started to water up I-I-I thought I could control it. It scares me. I cant sleep. she tried her best to keep her tears hidden from the man, but she had a feeling he could tell anyways. He seemed capable, he took her down without unsheathing his zanpakuto. How did you know? Do you know Shichiro? Can you help me? Im so scared I dont know what to do.

The girl stood to her feet and everything seemed fine, until Koberu could feel a sudden change in the girl, she seemed shocked, or something along those lines. Her eyes started to tear up and she told him that she couldn't sleep and that she was afraid, she was on the verge of crying. He was surprised when along with her questions she mentioned Shichiro's name. He sighed lightly and placed his hands behind his head, it had been a while since he thought about the others, he missed them. Yeah... I did know Shichiro. I knew the other Vizards too, they were my friends, hell they were my family. But... He looked down at the ground for a moment before looking back at the girl. Their all gone, died a long time ago. I'm Koberu Aoki, the last remaining member of the Old Vizards, and the current Leader. He analyzed the girl for a moment, she was scared and wanted answers, along with help on controlling her inner hollow. I should be able to help you, we had all dealt with our inner hollows on our own, but it looks like your going to need some assistance. So you can count on me.

Really!? she hopped up and wrapped her arms around him, giving him a big hug. For a moment she completely forgot his name, who he said he was. But after letting it all soak in, it his her. [i[Koberu!?[/i] she let him go and backed off. Naw, that was impossible. He was supposed to be dead, all of them were! She did question whether or not he was a new Vizard. But to think that one of them had survived? It was unheard of, even with her hoping that Takumi or Tanaka still walked the earth. Gah! She mustve looked so ungrateful right now. She had to make sure he understood her caution. Uuuh, I thought you were dead. I thought all of you were dead? Thats what I was told atleast. She didnt understand why they would lie to her. What did they gain from that? Did they think she would seek them out? Pfft, no she wouldnt. Well....she would. She had. But that was simply because she NEEDED them. She wasnt strong enough to take hers by herself. And hearing that they all had done it alone. Well, that made her feel weak. How did you control yours? They're so....violent. I tried to take back control, back there, but I couldnt do it.

Koberu was stunned for a moment when the girl suddenly hugged him, he just stood there trying his best to not squirm free. A moment later she let go of him and backed off a bit, which confused him for a second. "What is up with this chick?" She told him that she had heard that they were all dead, including Koberu, but what caught his attention was that someone had told her this. No... back during the Hueco Mundo invasion the others left to attack, leaving me here to protect the city just in case. Had I known how things were going to turn out... I would have gone too. But then again, we might have all actually died. She asked him how he had come to control his hollow, and told him that once her's took control she couldn't get it back. Well, it was a long time ago. Back when I was a Captain in Soul Society, after my hollow had basically resurfaced I knew it was time to go within and deal with it. Had I lost he would have taken over and we'd probably have been killed a long time ago, but as you can clearly see... I won. Once your strong enough you have to go into your own soul, the world within you where you zanpakuto dwells and conquers your hollow. He realized he hadn't yet asked her for her name and he was still curious about how she had heard about the Old Vizards. I forgot to ask you your name, and could you also tell me who told you about us all being dead?

Oh! Where are my manners? she jutted her hand towards him, offering a handshake. Maybe her hug had been a little too much. She was always overly-friendly, to an extent. He seemed like a nice guy, nice enough, so she felt she could be herself around him. Tatehaya Susanoo her voice mild with excitement. The over all situation had put her down in the dumps. And all she could really think of was battling this hollow within her and getting her freedom! Well, people in general. When I was unseated in the Gotei 13 people used to talk about you guys. Said that Soul Society would have never beat Katsu without the sacrifices made by the Vizard of Karakura and the Captain of the Seretei. she continued Zeke made sure any talk of the Vizards would not be silenced, he seemed to have a great respect for you. Others said you had all died. They glamorized you more then you know. Spoke of you like legends if anything. she twirled the umbrella around in her hand. Yup. Its good to hear that atleast one of you made it out alive, or is still alive. I thought i was alone!

The girl quickly offered Koberu a handshake and he shook it, the girl introduced herself as Tatehaya Susanoo. She explained how she had heard about the Vizards and about them all being dead, and Koberu smirked. Well now... isn't that refreshing to hear? Glad to see everyone showed respect for what my friends fought and died for, although I do wish they'd get their facts straight about us all being dead. He laughed lightly for a moment. Of course they talked as if we were legends, we were all legends, incredibly powerful with our assortment of skills and centuries of experience. Tatehaya mentioned being the only Vizard and Koberu looked to the side, off into the distance. There was a chance there were more Vizards out there that Koberu hadn't met, there had been a few occasions where spiritual pressure would rise slightly above human capabilities. Whether it was his imagination or not Koberu wasn't going to go out seeking other Vizards, the time would come when they all found him. He looked back to Tatehaya and smiled. I know what you mean, I was the only Vizard for a long time, you don't have to worry about being alone anymore.

After a time of talking with Koberu, she finally saw a bit of his personality surface. He seemed to be pretty damn confident in his skills. Hell he talked pretty damn highly of himself and his comrades. If it werent true then Tatehaya would have to worry about him fitting through the front door. He was cool, though. Said that he felt the same way she did. She had no doubt there were a number of rogue shinigami he could hang out with back at the old shop. She knew a few of them herself. But none of them were really interested in giving her a minute of the day. Oh well. She would simply have to get stronger and show them that she was worth their time. What? No! She would get stronger so she wouldnt have to deal with them. Still it was sad to see how much things had changed since she first came to the human world. She remembered when that shop was an avid hangout. And the warehouses were still used as the base of operations. Of course she was ordered to never go by there. As Jin would probably kill her. The same way he killed Pit. Yea she remembered that. Had all of SS in a sturr. That was when she was in the academy, though. After her brother died at the hands of Katsu, She was happy to see him die.

She pressed her arm against her body. What were they all like? The others? I'de really like to know. All ive ever heard was Shichiro being naive and energetic, and Daisuke being blunt and cool, Shun being reclusive clam, and you being.... she stopped for a second. Well, you!

Tatehaya asked Koberu what the others had been like, telling him the tiny bit she had heard about them. It actually summed them up quite nicely, for only being a few words. He started thinking about the others and what he could say about them, giving her a good description on who they really were. Well... you heard right, that pretty much sums them up in the simplest was possible. Shich was naive and energetic, he always would be messing around to try to have fun any way he could, it would be entertaining to watch him screw around. He'd always be at it with Dai to see who was stronger or the best at whatever, and kind of stupid contest you could think of. I'd constantly be shouting at them to keep it down when I was asleep. Dai was pretty blunt, he said whatever he wanted and if he offended someone then too damn bad for them. For the most part though he was a pretty cool and laid back guy, not getting mad very often but when he did my god was he a pain in the ass. Shun was usually silent and secluded, he'd almost always stick to the shadows, kind of keeping his distance. He never really showed much emotion, Shun was the kind of guy that always made sure whatever needed to get done got done. Koberu sighed for a moment, thinking back to the times he'd shared with his friends, he missed them. I hope that's what you were looking for. And what did you mean about me being me?

"And what did you mean about me being me?" Tatehaya's "oh shit" face kicked in as she heard those words, What did she mean? well, she meant what she meant. Did Koberu take that as an insult? She hoped he didnt, people tended to take what she said as an insult, more so in the Seretei. Well... she spun her umbrella around and twirled on one foot. I didnt wanna talk about you like you werent here! she said cheerfully. She leaned in close and stared into his eyes. Thats fine, right? her expression didnt change. It was less of a question and more of a challenging statement. Well, that as much as a declaration as to what she meant by that. And that being that he is him and they talked about him just as he is.

Koberu wasn't sure what to expect as an answer but Tatehaya's answer was plain and simple, she leaned in close and asked him if that was fine. It sounded like a question, but Koberu could feel something beneath that, like a challenging statement. He just smirked and shrugged his shoulders. Yeah, that's fine. I could look deeper into what you say, to see if there's anything lying beneath the surface of your words. But that's sounds like a huge pain, and who am I to not believe you? Besides... I wasn't the hard-ass of the group, that was Dai. He chuckled for a moment, thinking how everyone would have agreed with him, including Daisuke. He looked at Tatehaya for a moment and started thinking. So Tatehaya, what are you going to do now?
